As a 21 year old woman, I look forward to my future and I am frightened by how much breast cancer touches us all. Nearly 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Every 3 minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed. I wonder what 3 minute increment will be mine, or my mother's, or my sister's, or any other of the women who are special to me.
Breast Cancer is becoming all to common in our world. We must all join together to fight breast cancer so it does not have to touch so many of us.
My battle plan is this: I am going to complete the Avon 3-Day in Atlanta and show breast cancer that I am coming out swinging.
